Context
THE CHALLENGE
Present a cinema gift card as a finished present rather than a piece of plastic with a balance on it.
Solution
We staged the card against the auditorium: the dimensional card with its screening count and star on the left, rows of seats and the screen glowing violet-blue on the right. Light from the screen falls across the card, so object and occasion share one scene, while a denomination in screenings rather than currency explains at once what is being given.
