Context
THE CHALLENGE
Create dimensional lettering that stands as an art object in its own right and needs no supporting graphics around it.
Solution
We built the calligraphic script in volume: flourishes recede into depth and interlace with one another, with the metal tuned to a warm gold and crisp edges. The lettering sits in the perspective of a city street under diffused light, so the object gains an environment and a sense of scale while remaining the frame's only accent.
